The COVID-19 Collaborathon, a series of events hosted by the Colleaga Innovation Institute, aims to address the many "wicked" problems and deficiencies of our healthcare and social systems that have been exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pandemic has also illustrated collaborative open innovation at a speed and on a scale never seen before. Advancing and scaling innovations to meet these challenges is a complex, dynamic, multi-stakeholder, multi-system problem.
This free-to-attend experiential design challenge will bring experts, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders together to precisely identify and articulate problems to solve, and set up durable innovation partnerships that will develop actionable solutions.
Do you understand the complex problems and intricacies of: Scaling precision pandemic testing, Contact tracing, Vaccine supply chain, Mental health for at risk groups, Virtual care, Health system demand and capacity analytics, Pandemic social and workplace innovation? Do you work with advanced technologies and want to apply your capabilities to the COVID-19 problem space?
Utilizing the power of collective intelligence, our kick-off crowd-sourcing workshop will bring participants to contribute their expertise and perspectives on key COVID-19 problems.
Our Colleaga Distinguished Faculty will guide participants through our lean disciplined innovation methodology, The Structured Innovation Playbook, to develop the start of an innovation canvas, a rapid iterative idea capture tool that deconstructs key assumptions and precisely articulates the problems.
By tackling strategic problems, the Collaborathon provides the opportunity to build consensus and lay the foundations for rewarding innovation partnerships.
Acting as the primary network of professionals within Colleaga's larger Innovation Institute, this community nurtures mutually rewarding innovation partnerships and knowledge sharing between the health and social system professionals to improve front line health challenges, and the inventors and entrepreneurs creating the products and solutions to address these challenges.
We offer our members opportunities to participate in Community Events (eg. workshops, design challenges, market sounding exercises) where they can build relationships and share knowledge about innovations with each other, and our Innovation Fellows/teams who are developing actionable projects within our Innovation Project Accelerators.

As a part of Colleaga's ongoing efforts to cultivate community driven portfolios of novel, multi-organizational innovation projects that generate maximum social impact, these events provide the opportunity for our Community to develop mutually beneficial innovation partnerships with teams in our project accelerators.
